I began my career in the financial services industry in 1985, then launched RAC Mortgage Services in 1994 followed by RAC Insurance Agency in 1995. I created RAC Real Estate and Associates, Inc. in 2005. I also have an interest in businesses that provide renovation, construction and development; plumbing, heating & sewer; tile and flooring services.
In addition to holding a NYS Real Estate Broker’s License and NYS Mortgage Broker’s License, I hold a General Securities License-NASD Series 7 and Blue Sky Law License-NASD Series 63. I am Barbara Tretola, married to Phil Tretola for 44 years and I have two children and 4 grandchildren. I have a large close extended family on Long Island. I grew up in Queens and moved out to Hicksville soon after we were married. I went back to college when my children were in school to get a degree in Psychology, I have a Master’s Degree from Hofstra University. I owned my own retail business for many years and have extensive experience in sales. I have gone beyond basic sales agent acquired extensive training to become an Associate Broker to service the needs of my clients and customers better.

I have been a resident of Long Island for the past 40 years, in which I have been to many areas, and have knowledge of the towns in Nassau and Suffolk counties. I have always been interested in real estate, so I decided about ten years ago to get my state license to sell real estate. Since then, I have become a dedicated real estate agent helping clients to buy, list and sell many properties in the Long Island area. I have accomplished this through my skills in negotiation, marketing and closing deals.
I am a Notary Public, a Certified Buyers Representative, and a Realtor Short Sale Professional. I have degrees in Economics, Data Processing, Labor Relations, and Business.
